Thank you…
...so much for your participation. The winner of the survey was obviously English. A result I did not expect, but I am pleased and will continue improving my English for yours and my sake. Even if it is impossible to know who reads my blog, I would like to know part of it. So please just leave a comment or send me a message if you think I should know you are reading my postings. Maybe that will encourage me to write more frequently.
Thanks again!
Ps: coming back to normal, the next post will be about my actual experiences in Canada.

back to school
Long time no hear!
I am back from an amazing holiday in the USA. After seeing a bunch of cities and National Parks we went to Justine and Jacob in Duluth and later to family Hall in Nisswa. We spend a nice, really white, Christmas there.
A week later, I forgot the date -haha, we celebrated New Year's Eve with friends in Duluth.
We took the bus back home and had a short stop in Chicago, unfortunately Bekka was kind of sick and the 20 something hour bus ride wasn't that healthy either.
Anyway, it was a great tour!
And as I said in the beginning, I am back to school! I already spent $460 on books for this term - awesome, or?

California- rain; Grand Canyon- snow
I am writing from the Grand Canyon Headquarters, where we got stuck due to heavy snow. Anyway, it is a tremendous spot even if you can't see the other side.
Yesterday I saw a coyote on my way from the restroom to the car, so finally I see same animals in all that national parks... nice!

Buffalo, NY, San Francisco
Holiday season!
After crossing the border with a Coach Canada bus we flew to JFK. Unfortunately, we missed the connection flight, guess what: Jet Blue offers NY-Frisco only once a day! So be back at the airport in 20 hours...
NY was cold and rainy (actually the bad weather in NY caused our delay, I just forgot about it) we had no hostel but shared the subway with some other people which were in the same situation. Well, I guess they are in this situation already for a couple of years. Anyway, at least I was in NY again!
I am now blogging from a youth hostel in San Francisco and will be heading to Yosemite National Park tomorrow... nice (and at least warmer than Toronto, St. Catharines or NY)
